The Supernatural Co-Op is a cooperative owned and controlled by its working members whose purpose is to provide a source of natural food and natural products to those living in the Gardiner (central Maine) area. Guided by the needs of our members, we conduct our business in a conscientious manner with respect for our members, our community and our environment. We acknowledge and value the contribution of ideas and time by each individual member and strive to create an atmosphere conducive to participation in all phases of operation.

Whenever possible, for mutual benefit, we support regionally-based suppliers and organic agriculture.

As a paid member, you receive the full privilege of voting and voicing your ideas about running the co-op. You are encouraged to attend all business meetings where policies for the co-op are decided. If you are unable to attend, please feel free to submit your ideas in writing or by telephone to a member who will attend. We encourage members to attend the order meetings where you will have opportunity to order and share products available only in large quantity.

Each member of the co-op is expected to participate in the ongoing operation and is assigned a job to facilitate in tat operation. Being a member of Supernatural Co-Op is a unique experience with many opportunities to learn and share with a diverse group of people.
